Overview

What Is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on bodywork modality that works with your body's natural rhythms to support the nervous system, release patterns of tension, and encourage your body's innate ability to heal and regulate itself. Rather than forcing change, Craniosacral Therapy creates the conditions for your body to unwind naturally.

  • Light touch — no more than the weight of a nickel
  • Works with the head, spine, sacrum, and fascia
  • Effective for all bodies, including those holding onto trauma
  • Supports better sleep, reduced tension, and nervous system regulation
What to Expect

What Happens During a Session

Sessions take place in a quiet, peaceful environment for ultimate relaxation. You'll remain fully clothed while lying comfortably on a treatment table with blankets and pillows. Throughout the session, gentle hand placements may be used around the head and skull, neck, jaw, spine, shoulders, rib cage, sacrum, and feet.

Many clients describe the experience as being the first time they've been held in such a gentle way. Some notice subtle sensations of warmth, gentle movement, or emotional release, while others simply experience profound stillness and relaxation.

There is no "right" way to experience Craniosacral Therapy. Every session unfolds according to what your body needs most in that moment.

Who It's For

You're in the Right Place

Many clients choose Craniosacral Therapy not because something is "wrong," but because they recognize the value of giving their nervous system intentional time to rest, recover, and reset. You may benefit if:

  • You feel chronically stressed, emotional, or overwhelmed
  • You're a business owner, parent, or leader who has trouble slowing down
  • You carry tension in your neck, shoulders, jaw, or back
  • You feel disconnected from your body
  • You want support through a period of transition or burnout
Why We Recommend a Series

Why Multiple Sessions?

The body responds best to consistency. Just as patterns of stress develop over time, lasting change frequently occurs through repeated opportunities for the nervous system to experience safety, regulation, and release. We recommend beginning with three sessions scheduled about two weeks apart.

Session 1

Initial Session

Your first 60-minute session includes time to talk through your goals before your practitioner begins gently guiding your body's fascia to release restriction.

Session 2 — Two Weeks Later

Follow-Up Session

As your nervous system becomes more familiar with the process, many clients notice they're able to relax more deeply and settle into stillness faster.

Session 3 — Two Weeks Later

Integration Session

By the third session, many clients notice greater ease in the body, better quality sleep, and a calmer nervous system. From here, sessions continue based on your goals.

Your Investment in Nervous System Care

Craniosacral Therapy — $125–$150 per session

Initial 60-minute session: $150. Follow-up 60-minute sessions: $125. New clients receive 10% off their first session ($135).

We recommend starting with three sessions spaced about two weeks apart. Call (214) 919-0444 with any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions About Craniosacral Therapy

  • What is Craniosacral Therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on bodywork modality that works with your body's natural rhythms to support the nervous system, release patterns of tension, and encourage your body's innate ability to heal and regulate itself.

  • Does Craniosacral Therapy hurt?

No. Craniosacral Therapy uses extremely light touch — typically no more than the weight of a nickel — so sessions are calming rather than painful. Many clients describe it as the first time they've felt fully held and able to truly rest.

  • How many sessions will I need?

We generally recommend beginning with three 60-minute sessions scheduled about two weeks apart. This gives your body consistent opportunities to rest, integrate, and unwind tension. After this initial series, sessions can be scheduled based on your individual goals and how your body responds.

  • I've experienced trauma or don't respond well to deep tissue work — can I still try this?

Yes. Craniosacral Therapy is gentle and effective for all bodies, including those holding onto trauma, since it doesn't rely on force or manipulation. Many clients who don't respond well to intense therapy or manual massage find Craniosacral Therapy to be a comfortable, accessible alternative.

  • What will I feel during a session?

Every session is different. Some clients notice subtle warmth, gentle movement or twitching, or emotional release, while others simply experience profound stillness and relaxation. There's no "right" way to experience Craniosacral Therapy — your session unfolds according to what your body needs most in that moment.
