Why We exist

Studies show that approximately 80% of women suffer from some form of hormone imbalance. Rates of infertility are on the rise, affecting about 19% of women aged 15-49. Women are often taught very little about their own physiology, leaving them unsure of whatโ€™s โ€œnormalโ€ and โ€œabnormalโ€ when it comes to hormonal health.

Whatโ€™s considered common in our society is often far from โ€œnormal.โ€

Primary care physicians, OBGYNs, and Womenโ€™s Health Professionals sometimes fall short in supporting women with hormonal symptoms or diagnoses. They may prescribe medications or offer generic recommendations that leave many women feeling isolated, unsupported, and without answers.

Symptoms of hormone imbalance can be a result of various factors, including diet, medications, synthetic hormones, pollution, environmental toxins, and chronic stress. Unfortunately, the current healthcare system isnโ€™t always equipped to help women in these situations.

Thatโ€™s where our program comes in.

Our Mission

Our goal is simple yet transformative: to educate and empower cycling women to better understand their health and hormones within a supportive community of like-minded women, all at a reasonable cost.

We provide you with the tools to take control of your health based on personalized testing and your unique symptoms.

The Woman Behind The Program: Lauren Colletti, FNP

Lauren Colletti is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the Institute of Functional Medicine with well over a decade of experience.  She is the Clinical Director at Alive + Well, where she sees patients throughout Texas.

Lauren has spent the majority of her career helping thousands of women optimize their healthโ€“many of which seek her support with thyroid and digestive disorders, autoimmunity, fertility, hormone imbalances, menopause, chronic fatigue and biotoxin illness.  She has received training from some of the worldโ€™s experts in Womenโ€™s Health, thyroid disorders, BHRT, peptides, CIRS, genomics, and longevity. She practices personalized medicine, knowing that recommendations need to be based on the individualโ€™s history, testing and review of symptoms and systems โ€“ she does not believe in  โ€œone size fits allโ€ recommendations or rigid protocols but instead takes an individualized holistic approach.

Lauren focuses on the foundations first and then seeks the deeper root causes that are addressed through custom treatment plans.  She believes in a team-based, multi-disciplinary approach, utilizing cutting edge therapies. She knows, first-hand, what an important role women play within their communities, whether as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, or friend.  Empowered women, empower women and this is central to Laurenโ€™s mission and lifeโ€™s work.
