Alive And Well is a wellness ecosystem located in Bee Caves, Austin, TX. Our company’s mission is to Empower and Elevate Human Health.

We have service in our hearts, and work together as a team in a collaborative manner.

Our company is growing rapidly with us adding two new locations in Dallas, TX and Boulder, CO later this year.

Alive and Well is an integrative wellness center located in the Bee Cave area of Austin. We are a rapidly growing start-up with locations opening up in Dallas, TX, and Boulder, CO in the next few months.

Through our functional medicine clinic, we focus on treating patients with a whole body, root cause approach. We spend considerable time getting to know the health history and current conditions of each patient. Patients are supported in our clinic by providers (adult and pediatric), nutritionists, health coaches and patient care coordinators.

We are currently looking to bring on an experienced Practice Manager to run our Functional Medicine practice. We have a team of 6 providers, 3 Patient Coordinators, 3 Virtual Assistants, and a Medical Assistant. This team will be growing considerably in the next year.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes
  • Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction and retention
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize utilization management and ensure quality patient care
  • Utilize practice management software (Cerbo) to maintain accurate patient records and manage appointments
  • Handle financial management tasks, including budgeting, billing, reconciling.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with other departments or organizations to enhance patient care and outcomes

Experience:

  • Previous experience in practice management or office management in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of utilization management principles and practices
  • Proficiency in using practice management software (such as Cerbo)
  • Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and financial analysis
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Alive and Well Austin is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our IV Vitamin team at our Bee Cave location: 3944 Ranch Road 620 S, Building 6, Suite 100, Austin TX 78738.

Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) within this position will utilize the IV Vitamin infusion nursing process / skills to deliver intravenous vitamins, minerals and amino acids, as well as injections such as B12, Glutathione, NAD, etc. IV vitamin therapy is administered to customers who drop in or make appointments. The nurse within this position will be highly effective at supporting our customers in having an experience that enhances their overall health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer vitamin, mineral, amino acid IV’s as well as injections.
  • Provides information and education for those who ask about IV vitamin therapy.
  • Provide high care, high quality and personable customer service to all who enter or call.

Pay:

$38 to $43 per hour (includes base salary plus gratuity)

Schedule:

  • Mondays 9:00am to 5:00pm and Tuesdays, and Thursdays 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Alive and Well is an 8000 sq foot functional medicine wellness center that offers a wide variety of alternative options for health and healing.

EBO2 (extracorporeal blood oxygenation and ozonation) is a blood filtration process that filters out toxic fats and is also anti-viral, anti-fungal, anti-bacterial. It has been a huge support and highly effective for many of our clients. As a result, we want to add an additional day.

The overseeing NP works in collaboration with our RN to administer the protocol.

The RN places an IV in each of the patients arms. Blood exits through one IV, travels through a dialysis-like filter to become ozonated, and returns through the other IV. With this setup, blood comes in contact with minimal foreign surfaces, while maintaining high ozone transfer.

EB02 Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

  • Provider reviewed patient records and patient cleared for protocol administration.
  • Provider reviews the set up of the entire EB02 protocol after the RN has put everything in place for the protocol.
  • Pre-consult with each patient where the Medical History is reviewed. Also notes no medical history changes for repeat patients.
  • Answer any questions that might arise. Discuss the process and benefits with the patient before beginning.
  • Pregnancy test completed for any woman of childbearing years.
  • Facilitate the EB02 process with the RN. Approximately 1 hr for the protocol itself.
  • Troubleshoot anything that needs to be taken care of as the EB02 process unfolds i.e. adjusting for improved blood flow through the protocol.
  • Connect with the overseeing MD should anything come up for the patient that is beyond standing orders.
  • NP completes the EB02 observation notes in Cerbo, our EMR i.e.. Infusion completed, IV catheter removed with tip intact; EBO2 protocol followed, Patient tolerated the protocol without complications, no signs of infiltration of complaints, pain or other concerns.
  • Support the tear down process

Hospitality Assistant Manager / Spa Lead at Alive and Well is an 8000 sq ft wellness center, spa and functional medicine clinic. Our center includes a wide variety of services, holistic therapies, practitioners, supplements, pharmacy and more. We are seeking an Assistant Manager/Spa Lead that is of a similar mind set. Hospitality Assistant Manager

  • Supporting the team with daily tasks and projects to completion.
  • Remaining upfront with the team coordinating the flow of services through Hospitality.
  • Functioning as the Hospitality Coordinator, the Assistant Manager will continue to check people in, check out, answer phones, and be responsible for opening & closing duties, etc.
  • Assist the General Manager in resolving guest concerns and issues.
  • Be an example of high-quality customer care for the team. Along with the General Manager coordinate & co-lead a Hospitality team meeting every 2 months at minimum.
  • Coordinate team meetings with the therapists every 3 months (Massage, Acupuncture, Estheticians all done separately).
  • Therapists scheduling – Ensure that all therapists are “booked out” into the future and that there are NO gaps.
  • Declined report – Pull the declined report and ensure that it’s resolved.
  • Analyze with the General Manager the sales report to determine which services are flourishing and which are not.
  • General Manager and Assistant Manager will set up monthly meetings with the Marketing Director to determine future changes & programs that will impact the center – and to brainstorm future ideas.
  • Assist the General Manager with hiring, job posts, initial interviews and the creation of “staff contracts” & on-boarding.

Special Projects

  • Enhancing the membership program
  • Work with the General Manager to up level the customer care and Hospitality experience.
  • Evolve the presentation of our menus so that it is more appealing to the eye for guests – and best represents what we offer. Suggestions for the website. Ensure that website content is accurate and up to date.
  • Work with the General Manager to maximize the retail space in both its appeal and profitability.
  • Work with the General Manager on consulting projects i.e. creating a mini project.
  • Work with the General Manager to execute community events & collaborations.

Spa Lead

  • Managing the therapist’s schedules – ensuring that switches have been made and that scheduling reflects the change.
  • Setting up and facilitating meetings with the therapists every 3 months at minimum (Massage, Acupuncture, Estheticians all done separately).
  • Supporting the therapists with day to day needs and questions.
  • Oversee each room and ensure that all supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Adjust décor and / or coordinate a deep cleaning in each spa room as needed.
  • Work with guests that are doing rejuvenation spa retreats. Give them “extra” care and support onsite to provide a high-quality experience.
  • Grow and evolve spa services within the center by making suggestions regarding promotions, protocols and upgrades.
  • Regular follow up with spa services employees to ensure that they are following our protocols.
  • Lead 90-day performance evaluations for feedback with therapists as well as Annual Reviews. Compensation discussions with General Manager.
  • Work with the General Manager to promote and optimize memberships
  • Post open spa positions promptly and conduct interviews to fill those positions in a timely manner.
  • Complete tasks per the General Manager’s request in a timely manner and communicate completion so that next steps can be taken.
  • When new services are implemented make sure that all Hospitality Staff are informed, and that the scheduling system is updated with the new pricing.
  • The Spa Manager will also work at the Hospitality desk – coordinating services, checking in, checking out, and overall support of guest needs throughout the center.
  • An established schedule will be created for “off desk” time. 2-3 hours at a time
  • Printing sales reports and cost analysis periodically – every 6 months
  • Make sure the website is up to date on the services we have and our therapists (headshot and bio)
  • Ensure that all licensing is current and on file for the individual therapists and the facility at large.

Preferred Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Health and Wellness/Spa field or within the Hospitality industry.
  • 3 + years of experience in a leadership capacity and the ability to manage an exceptional team of talent, skill and heart.
  • Proven track record of managing a team in a hospitality or spa management role that includes a variety of therapists.
  • Med Spa management experience preferred
  • Innovative and creative in ideas and inspiration that can elevate the center.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to stay present with staff and guests when multi-tasking.
  • Proven ability to create strong relationships with individuals and teams.
  • Ability to multitask with ease and presence.
  • Salary Range (Based on experience) $50,000-$60,000

  • At least 2-3 year Colon Hydrotherapy Professional experience on a CLOSED Colonic Device.
  • The ideal candidate would also be passionate about gut health and alternative approaches to healing.

Commission: This is a commission position. Commission is 35% on the service price plus gratuity. Commission range varies based on the service price. A therapist would receive $70-$115 per CH session (not an hourly position). That range includes the commission plus gratuity.

Schedule: 3-4 days per week – with one of those days being a Saturday. 9-5pm (This position would be full time at 30 hours or more)

Pharmacy Manager – Dallas

Alive and Well is an innovative integrative health and wellness center offering a wide variety of health and wellness products, treatments, and services to provide our customers with an elevated customer experience. Key services include spa services, holistic therapies, IV vitamin therapy, functional medicine clinic, full-service compounding pharmacy, and a wide range of professional grade supplements and beauty products.

We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist to help build our Pharmacy business in our new Dallas location. We are looking to hire a leader that is energetic, positive, knowledgeable, customer focused, that embraces our integrated health and wellness model and has experience with compounding and supplements. This person should be driven by building relationships with local providers, customers, as well as the Alive and Well team.

Alive and Well is seeking IV Vitamin Therapy Registered Nurses for our new Boulder location that appreciates an integrative approach as well as our core values.

The IV Vitamin Therapy Registered Nurse (RN) will utilize the IV infusion nursing protocol, as described in our Standing Orders, to deliver intravenous vitamins, minerals and amino acids, as well as injections such as B12, Glutathione, D3. IV vitamin therapy is administered to customers who drop in or make appointments. The RN will also administer ozone insufflations, MAH and other complementary wellness IV’s. The nurse within this position will be highly effective at supporting our customers in having an experience that enhances their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. License to be presented at time of hire.
  • Experience in a functional medicine clinic setting is a plus
  • Experience in a wide variety of medical settings is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Administer vitamin, mineral, amino acid IV’s as well as injections.
